Thank you Douglas! If you have time and interest, I definitely recommend for you to try developing film.

Hi there, nice website - I really like your custom Wordpress design. I also shoot medium format (Yashicamat TLR and Mamiya 6), mostly on Fuji slide film, and I'm just about to buy a little compact 35mm for a daily carry. I have never yet developed my own film - maybe that is next?! All the best, Douglas

Thank you Tom! I couldn't live without tagging and linking. Yashica Mat EM is more than a good starting point. It's a great camera, it's one of the Yashica's high end models. Yashica Mat EM's are almost the same as Yashica Mat 124Gs but not so hip -- therefore also cheaper. So I highly recommend Yashica Mat EM if you want to buy a TLR. You can use Rollei's TLR accessories (bay-1) with it.

I really enjoyed looking through your website. Especially your listing of the different types of gear you own and examples of photos shot using your various cameras. I am looking to get a TLR and have seen some good prices for the Yashica MAT EM. Would you recommend this TLR as a starting point?

Thank you Johan! I couldn't live (blog) without tags and categories. :) The current blog layout is still partly under construction - I need to create an archives page.

I really recommend TLR cameras. They are small, handy and usually offer superb quality. I tried RF shooting with two compact rangefinder cameras (Rollei XF 35 and Minolta Hi-matic 7s) but noticed that I like proper mirror cameras more.

Really like your site! Great that you have linked/tagged everything together too! Personally looking forward towards a bigger camera collection, as of today I use (analog) Bronica S, Diana and Nikon FA and (digital) Nikon D200, but I really want some TLR too - and some nice rangefinder :-)

Keep goin!
