Sold!

Yashicaflex

Only 4 days ago I put my thoughts into words — after thinking about it for 3 weeks — and today I sold the last piece I was trying to sell. The Yashicaflex TLR was gone in an hour after posting the ad on Wednesday and the batch of color film was gone the next day. And today I sold the Welta Weltax folding camera. I’m now left with digital SLR system and three film cameras: the great and small Nikon EM, the awesome Yashica Mat EM and the fun Noon Pinhole, and a pile of black and white film and chemicals.

Guess where I’m going to invest the money I got from the camera sale? I’m going to buy a camera! Who would have guessed? The most probable camera to buy is the Fujifilm X10 compact camera which I’m going to go to check out it today in a local camera store.

Worldwide Pinhole Day 2011

The Worldwide Pinhole (Photography) Day 2011 was yesterday, on 24th of April 2011. My contribution was taken with Noon Pinhole camera on Fuji Reala 100 film.

Worldwide Pinhole Day

Field

Next Sunday (24th of April) is the annual worldwide pinhole day. So, all you photography enthusiasts, prepare yourself and take a photo through a pinhole on Easter Sunday, and post it onto the official site or Flickr group.

Usually pinhole photos are taken on film but it’s quite easy to take also digital pinhole photos. The easiest way to take digital pinhole photos is to make a pinhole onto a camera body cap or to buy a ready-made pinhole body cap. Another option is to attach a pinhole plate to the camera body.

For film projects, see for example the Silverbased blog‘s posts with lots of pinhole photos and DIY instructions.

I’m going to take my Noon Pinhole camera for a spin.
